Roles & Responsibilities
Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is a publicly funded research institute, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Job Role:
Design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative learning and development solutions that build critical skills and capabilities to support organizational growth. Lead the integration of performance management frameworks to drive continuous improvement and employee development. Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish robust succession planning strategies that ensure leadership continuity and talent readiness across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Learning & Development
- Design and develop capability building initiatives that align with organizational objectives, strategies and priorities.
- Assess organizational learning needs through skills-gap analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with Department Heads, Senior leaders to design customized learning journeys for technical talent.
- Develop, and implement tailored learning programs (Technical, Leadership, and behavioral development).
- Measure and evaluate effectiveness of learning programs using feedback surveys to enhance learning journey and drive continuous improvement.
- Introduce and facilitate in integrating technology-driven learning platforms, blended learning solutions, and learning analytics to drive automation and digital transformation.
- To develop and implement an effective competency model to provide a structured framework and roadmap on talent upskilling, internal mobility, career progression & development, succession planning & career growth.
- Ensure knowledge transfer, learning culture in alignment with best practices and global L&D trends
- To manage training calendar, training budget and collaborate with other HC functions and external vendors where applicable
- Partner in the execution of the organization s performance management framework, including goal-setting cycles, reviews, calibration, and 360 feedback.
- Support the design and delivery of the Succession Planning Framework, ensuring pipelines for critical roles and future leaders.
- Master s degree in HR or a related field.
- Professional certifications in L&D / Instructional Design (CIPD, ATD, SHRM or similar) preferred
- Minimum 8 12 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development of which at least 3 years at a senior specialist/manager level.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing learning strategies in technology, R&D, or innovation-driven organizations.
