Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, fostering strong relationships to optimize workflow and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Manage workforce allocation, ensuring that skilled labor is utilized efficiently and that team members are properly trained.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting training sessions and ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, expenditures, and material usage to facilitate project tracking and reporting.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues on-site, employing problem-solving skills to maintain a positive work environment and keep the project on track.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma, Bachelor's degree, Civil Engineering, in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in construction supervision, demonstrating a solid understanding of building processes.
  • Experience in construction projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Candidates should ideally be from the local region to ensure familiarity with local regulations and practices.
  • Blueprint reading, and construction methodologies are essential.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, fostering collaboration and motivating team members towards shared goals.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure, ensuring project continuity.
