Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to oversee and manage all phases of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be the main point of coordination between consultants, contractors, and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.


Supervise contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and laborers on-site.


Monitor project progress and generate regular status reports for stakeholders.


Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and suppliers.


Conduct quality control inspections to ensure construction standards are met.


Resolve technical issues and address unexpected problems on site.


Ensure health and safety policies are enforced at all times.


Approve material and labor requisitions and manage inventory.


Participate in project meetings and provide input on engineering or construction-related issues.


Maintain documentation and project records throughout all construction phases.


Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in civil engineering (Master s degree is a plus).


Proven experience (7+ years) in construction management, with a strong civil engineering foundation.


In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and safety guidelines.


Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).


Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.


Familiarity with local building codes and environmental regulations.


PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
