Construction Manager Civil ACE Contracting

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans in coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Set timelines, construction schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor progress against project milestones and take corrective action as needed.

2. Site Management

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Conduct hourly site inspections and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

3. Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage project teams including engineers, foremen, and workers.
• Assign responsibilities, track performance, and facilitate training for junior staff when necessary.

4. Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.
• Approve procurement requests and verify contractor/supplier invoices.

5. Quality Assurance

• Ensure construction work complies with regulatory standards, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with quality control teams and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs).

6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

• Enforce strict compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies on site.
• Review and approve HSE plans, permits, and method statements.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.

7. Coordination with Stakeholders

• Act as the primary point of contact between the client, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain complete project records including daily reports, material receipts, inspection logs, and progress reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports for management and clients.

9. Risk Management

• Identify potential risks (technical, financial, or operational) and propose mitigation strategies.
• Adjust project scope, methods, or schedule as required to address unforeseen issues.

10. Contractual and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to the construction project.
• Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
