Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Contracts Director to oversee all construction-related activities for major transport infrastructure projects. This role requires a strategic leader with deep experience in the UAE market, capable of driving execution excellence, ensuring compliance, and managing diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engaging with existing Zutari Clients to position for downstream supervision works
  • Lead all construction-related activities for transport infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, health and safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies (including RTA), ensuring proactive stakeholder management.
  • Provide strategic input during design development, development of construction tender documentation and constructability reviews.
  • Drive compliance with UAE regulatory standards and RTA guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks; lead resolution of site issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage project reporting, progress tracking, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers and technical leads.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement across construction teams.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; Master s preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of construction management experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role overseeing major transport infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record working with the large Developers and Transport Authorities across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Experience with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations, procurement, and health & safety frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract management, including contract administration, compliance, claims mitigation, claims evaluation and resolution, working with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC).
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary site teams and contractors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
