As Compliance Specialist (Courier Express), you will responsible for managing all express & courier operational partner compliance activities, encompassing operational, financial, service, and legal adherence and agreed contracts. The role entails overseeing operational finance activities, maintaining compliance through controls and authorizations, addressing partner non-compliance areas via relevant processes, and supporting both in-house and outsourced teams across various locations to ensure timely decisions are made in the best interest of Emirates Courier Express.

In This Role, You Will

  • Support operational partner sourcing, selection, and activation, via industry leading sourcing and selection processes.
  • Lead partner contract management by ensuring compliance with Emirates policies and monitoring performance against key indicators. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and regulators to maintain service excellence.
  • Own Emirates Courier Express system cost control mechanisms, ensuring appropriate cost configurations are regularly maintained and business cost accruals are accurately captured.
  • Manage partner invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies. Oversee operational cost parameters (duties & taxes) and handle partner loss and damage claims.
  • Produce partner performance management reporting & analytics (cost focused) highlighting achievements and disruptions. Where opportunities or deficiencies occur, identify the root cause, and recommend sustainable development programs for all.
  • Lead strategic operational investment analysis and business case preparation, ensuring key operational investment decisions are appropriately assessed, structured, and presented will a comprehensive justification.
  • Conduct change management and risk assessments to support business needs in line with new or revised compliance legislation and authorisations.

Qualification

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with over 5 years of experience in Logistics/Cargo, specifically Air Cargo.
  • Proven 5+ years experience with legal contracting with partners/clients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to create financial business cases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen, with ability to assertively manage internal and external stakeholders.
