Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
PJT Partners is seeking to hire a compliance professional covering business lines operating on behalf of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia). This is a new, stand-alone role reporting into the Head of Compliance for the Middle East (based in Dubai) offering a unique opportunity for a self-driven individual to work independently while contributing to the global Legal & Compliance team.
Primary responsibilities include:
Ensure policies and procedures governing activities of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) are current and meet local regulatory expectations
Advise the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring teams in Saudi Arabia in their execution activities and provide independent oversight of the personnel conducting activity on behalf of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia)
Facilitate regulatory interactions and regulatory reporting with the Capital Market Authority ( CMA ), and other relevant governmental bodies
Monitor licensing and registration requirements for PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) personnel
Track, assess and advise the firm in relation to regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia
Provide local support for the Finance and Operations functions in the region
Play a pivotal role connecting the Saudi team with colleagues in London and New York, fostering collaboration and consistency across regional and global operations
Qualifications:
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. The successful candidates should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, and a desire to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will also have the following qualifications and skills:
5 years experience as a compliance professional (either at a financial services firm, consultancy or regulator)
Bachelor s degree required
Strong knowledge of the rules and procedures of the CMA
Familiarity with M&A, capital markets, and fund marketing services
Fluent in Arabic, with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex regulatory matters and challenge constructively when needed
Proven ability to work independently, while effectively collaborating with global Legal & Compliance and broader Corporate teams
Collaborative mindset and the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated risk and control awareness, with the ability to identify and escalate issues promptly and appropriately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
