Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Communication Manager helps, oversees, implements and expands its corporate communication strategy among internal and external audiences.

Establishing and/or maintaining communication protocols within the company s five offices

Monitoring the media for news about SETS and the sectors it operates in

Writing copy for SETS International, both in English and in Arabic. Copy chiefly includes press releases, feature stories, social media posts, brochures, posters, presentations and speeches

Creating content for, and managing, SETS social media accounts (text, infographics, pictures and videos)

Creating content for, and managing relations with, regional media organizations pertaining to the field

Organizing, planning for and managing a variety of internal and external events to promote the SETS brand among various stakeholders

Advising SETS management on decisions affecting the company s brand image

Establishing a crisis communication plan for SETS

Monitoring, evaluating and expanding the SETS communication strategy over time

Possess a graduate degree in corporate communication, public relations, journalism, business or a related field

Have at least five years of experience in a comparable position

Speak and write flawless English and Arabic

Understand branding principles and creatively implement the company s brand identity in major and minor details

Understand news values, media protocols, the particularities of (textual and convergence) journalistic writing and other requirements that guarantee publishing

Understand social media platforms; their particularities, their respective requirements and the recipe that makes a post successful

Be conceptual when revising and updating the company s communication strategy

Be meticulous when implementing the details of the strategy

Be an articulate and creative communicator

Have good organizational and time management skills

Be a great listener and wise advisor
