Job description
SPIE Global Service Energy currently hiring for Commissioning Supervisor Mechanical for Onshore Project in Basra, Iraq.
Its a rotational role- 28/28
Job Purpose-
Lead and supervise commissioning and start-up activities related to Commissioning Supervisor Mechanical systems on the onshore oil & gas project. Ensure commissioning tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.
Main Responsibilities-
•
Supervise commissioning of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, rotating/static equipment).
• Plan and coordinate mechanical commissioning activities with the team.
• Ensure mechanical commissioning procedures and HSE standards are applied.
• Lead troubleshooting and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Verify mechanical completion and ensure systems are ready for start-up.
• Manage punch list clearance and documentation for handover.
• Report status and progress to the Commissioning Manager.
Profile
Requirements-
• Iraqi national from Basra region.
•
Engineering degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 8 years experience in mechanical commissioning in oil & gas industry.
• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, rotating/static equipment, and piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
• Proven leadership and coordination skills.
• Strong commitment to HSE practices.
