Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate site construction activities, ensuring seamless transition from construction to commissioning.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to optimize design for reliability and performance, and develop KPIs for senior management.
  • Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and strategies to maintain project schedules under challenging conditions.
  • Evaluate EPC contractor procedures including PT, RTR, and commissioning protocols.
  • Witness and review pre-commissioning, functional, operational, performance, reliability, and net dependable capacity tests.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients to ensure quality and progress in commissioning and connection works.
  • Interpret P&IDs and specifications to ensure compliance, and review documentation for MCC, RFC, RFSU, and PAC certifications.
  • Prepare and monitor construction snag lists for timely resolution.
  • Attend client and third-party meetings, and facilitate internal commissioning meetings with proper documentation.
  • Adhere to company QHSE policies and coordinate commissioning activities across disciplines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Seawater intake systems, SWRO pretreatment, filtration, DAF, UF, NF, high-pressure pumps, ERD, chemical dosing systems, DM plants, and surge-protected water networks.
  • 20–25 years’ experience in commissioning large desalination or water treatment plants (above 30 MIGD).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • English proficiency required.
