Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items as directed by the senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
  • Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies.
  • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of menus and recipe development.
  • Continuously strive to improve culinary skills and knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing to work and relocate to Sharjah.
