What You ll Do

* Prepare ingredients, mise en place, and cook dishes in line with established recipes and standards
* Assist with butchery tasks including deboning, trimming, and portioning meat with precision
* Inspect meat deliveries to ensure freshness and quality
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations and butchery areas
* Support service by plating, garnishing, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
* Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with HACCP standards
* Monitor portion control and minimize food waste to control costs
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
* Assist in training and guiding junior staff to maintain culinary standards
* Suggest improvements and contribute ideas for seasonal menu updates

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
* 2 4 years of experience in butchery or kitchen operations within hospitality, with strong knowledge of meat preparation
* Certification in food safety or culinary training is an advantage
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
* Presentable personality with a strong commitment to quality and guest satisfaction
