Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation, trimming, cutting, and portioning of meats, poultry, and seafood.

  • Ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of butchery items.
  • Supporting senior chefs in maintaining portion control and reducing waste.
  • Preparing mise en place for the kitchen and banquet operations.
  • Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the butchery section.
  • Using knives and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Assisting in inventory checks and requisitions for butchery items.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to meet daily service and event requirements.


Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts.

  • 1 2 years kitchen experience, preferably in butchery within a 4/5-star hotel.
  • Basic knowledge of meat and seafood preparation techniques.
  • Strong knife handling and food safety skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with attention to detail and consistency.
