Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes specific to Persian, Arabic, and Mediterranean cuisine.
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs while maintaining creativity and authenticity.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist in mise-en-place, stock control, and minimizing food wastage.
- Work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
- Previous experience as Commis 1 in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Persian, Arabic, or Mediterranean cuisine.
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and passion for food.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
