With innovation at our core, we empower our clients to create exceptional experiences through cutting-edge broadcast and media solutions.PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Commercial Operations Manager is a newly created role serving as the bridge between commercial and operational functions, overseeing the proposal, contracting, handover, and project closure stages of the commercial lifecycle for NEP Middle East. Beginning after the bid go/no-go decision, the role is central to managing proposals, contracts, and performance reviews, requiring strong regional expertise, excellent knowledge of contract law in the Middle East, and the ability to lead cross-functional coordination across sales, finance, legal, and operations to deliver competitive, compliant, and successful commercial outcomes.Position Key Responsibilities And Job TasksProposal Development & ContractingLead and coordinate complex RFP responses, ensuring resources are aligned, deadlines are met, and proposals reflect both client and NEP strategic requirements.Drive cross-functional collaboration, consolidating inputs from technical management, equipment planning, engineering, legal, finance, logistics, and other stakeholders to prepare complete and compliant proposals.Review tender documentation and perform detailed commercial and risk assessmentsOversee the full Internal Approval (IA) process for MEA from opportunity through contract maintaining the IA pipeline and leading regular review meetings with stakeholders.Partner with legal, sales, and finance teams on deal structuring, pricing models, and contract finalization.Ensure all proposals are commercially competitive, aligned with client expectations, and compliant with regional regulations.Lead the internal Bid Review process, delivering tailored Bid Summaries, Cashflow projections, and Risk Registers for each opportunity.Support the Regional Sales Director and Regional Chief Commercial Officer in contract negotiations, identifying risks and opportunities, and securing favorable terms.Provide expert guidance on regional and global bidding processes to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.Manage the region s sales support, marketing, and client engagement functions, ensuring strong coordination, execution, and performance across teams.Manage and maintain CRM and Deal Hub tools for the MEA region, ensuring data integrity, proper training, and accessibility for the sales team.Project Handover and Client EngagementTransition project and contractual information to internal teams, ensuring clarity of scope, deliverables, and expectations.Participate in internal alignment sessions to confirm project requirements and ensure smooth operational handover.Support the Sales Director and Regional Chief Commercial Officer in client kick-off meetings as required.Maintain proactive involvement during project execution to monitor compliance with contractual terms, flag risks, and provide early warnings where necessaryPerformance Analysis and ReportingLead the project closure process by analyzing performance against contractual and financial KPIs.Manage the opportunity pipeline and contract database, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting for senior leadership.Develop insights and reports on commercial and operational performance across all bids and projects, with clear recommendations for continuous improvement.Maintain comprehensive records of deviations, risks, and lessons learned to inform future bids and proposals.Education & ExperienceQUALIFICATIONS / PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION / OTHER INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in Business, Media, Finance, Law or related field.7+ years of experience in commercial or contract management roles within media, broadcasting, live events, or large-scale projects.Proven track record managing contracts for high-value, complex projects across MEA.Strong knowledge of contract law in the Middle East, particularly UAE and KSA.Familiarity with FIDIC contract structures.Hands-on experience with regional and global bidding processes.Strong regional network and understanding of local market dynamicsoriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.Willingness to travel across the MEA region as needed.
