Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and procure materials, products, equipment, and services in line with business needs and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including requisition management, purchase order creation, delivery tracking, and payment processing.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new suppliers, alternative products, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, commercial procedures, and UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Support commercial activities such as vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and lease agreement negotiations to optimize business terms and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate procurement and commercial records, reports, and analyses for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, logistics, legal) to align procurement with business objectives and resolve any supply or contract issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure adherence to quality and service standards.
  • Manage and resolve supplier disputes, credit holds, and pricing discrepancies as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement and commercial operations.
  • Manage the renewal of business certificates, including ISO certifications

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferable
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or commercial roles, ideally within the UAE.
  • Experience with procurement software and CRM systems.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and compliance standards is an advantage
