First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Collections Operations Officer to support the collections team by managing customer service requests, processing settlement and clearance letters, reconciling suspense accounts, and handling vendor invoices. The role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with regulatory requirements, and a commitment to delivering excellent internal and external customer experiences.

What You ll Do
* Process and validate vendor invoices related to legal, civil, or repossession cases, ensuring accuracy and no financial loss to the bank
* Prepare and issue settlement and clearance letters for customers
* Handle customer complaints and service requests related to collections in a timely manner
* Support reconciliation of collections suspense accounts and perform settlement reversals as needed
* Place relevant blocks on cards and manage related collection operations activities
* Provide administrative support to collection vendors and ensure timely processing of commission claims
* Ensure compliance with FAB policies, Central Bank regulations, and legal frameworks
* Collaborate with team members to maintain operational continuity and smooth workflow
* Participate in Code of Conduct training and ensure all mandatory compliance requirements are met
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related field
* Minimum 2 3 years of experience in banking, preferably within collections or operations
* Strong knowledge of banking processes, vendor management, and reconciliation practices
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
* High level of accuracy, discretion, and organizational skills
