Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The collection officer is responsible to ensure (timely) collections from the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect Cheques from the customers and submit to finance department for data entry
  • Analyze credit outstanding in the marketplace and weigh the same against approved Credit period by customer.
  • Achieve DSO target.
  • Update management on risks for Bad Debt with ongoing study of the marketing conditions and continuous vigilance of company exposure.
  • In case of Legal action to be taken against defaulting party, liaise with concerned authorities within the organization.
  • Prepare and submit collection reports to Sales Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements:

  • High School/Diploma
  • 3 years experience plus technical certifications as required. Should have completed all necessary operational training at advance level
  • Knowledge of credit collection reports
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Basic knowledge of Financial / Account practices
  • Ability to understand credit situations
