Job Overview
CodeBrave is recruiting engaging and passionate Coding & Robotics Teachers to deliver classes to students aged 5-18 using CodeBrave s curriculum (designated age group will depend on tutor's preference and skillset). The candidate should be passionate about supporting children s growth and excited to work within CodeBrave's forward-thinking culture.
Required Skills
At least 2 years prior teaching experience; classroom teachers will require 3+ years experience including teaching in a classroom setting.
For teachers for ages 5-11: Background in science, maths, coding, or similar.
For teachers for ages 12-18: Technical skills in STEM/coding/robotics, though university degree is not required - preference is for teaching ability.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and connect with children.
An interest in developing yourself as an educator.
Areas Of Responsibility
Responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned project and can include:
Teaching coding and robotics classes to underprivileged youth in schools in Lebanon (including both remote and in-person) using CodeBrave's curriculum.
Tutoring children internationally through our social enterprise CodeBrave Tutors.
Attending training sessions and meetings, as required. We train all of our tutors in child psychology and our teaching methodology, with up to 33 hours of training available each year.
