Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Oversight

- Plan, schedule, and manage coating lines (knife coating, dip coating, sintering ovens, calendaring) for PVC and PTFE-coated fabrics. - Ensure consistent production of multi-pass coatings (e.g., tie coat, base coat, top coat, lacquer, PVDF). - Coordinate recipe management and strict control of coating weight (gsm), tension, temperature, curing, and layer adhesion.

2. Process Control & Troubleshooting

- Monitor key parameters: - Coating speed, knife gap, viscosity, plastisol temperature, web tension, sintering profile - Adhesion strength, shrinkage, surface quality, GSM - Identify root causes for defects: bubbling, pinholes, poor adhesion, orange peel, etc. - Drive quick countermeasures and maintain stable process capability.

3. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure products comply with specs (tensile, tear, adhesion, fire-retardancy, UV resistance). - Collaborate with QA/QC to validate every batch. - Keep records for traceability (ISO 9001), and ensure waste, emissions, and material handling meet ISO 14001.

4. Workforce Management

- Supervise coating operators, shift leaders, and maintenance techs. - Assign shifts, enforce discipline, and ensure safety protocols (PPE, exposure controls for plasticizers, solvents, PTFE fumes). - Train teams on SOPs, 5S, lean practices, and emergency procedures.

5. Coordination & Reporting

- Collaborate with R&D and planning for new product trials, material trials, and urgent orders. - Track raw material usage (PVC resin, plasticizers, fillers, glass yarn substrates). - Submit daily/weekly reports on productivity, downtime, scrap %, and corrective actions.
