Roles & Responsibilities


Experience: 5+ Years in Coastal/Marine Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design coastal protection structures (breakwaters, revetments, groynes)
  • Conduct hydrodynamic modeling of waves, currents, and sediment transport
  • Assess coastal erosion risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Supervise marine construction projects from concept to completion
  • Ensure compliance with CIRIA, PIANC, and Dubai Coastal Zone standards
  • Prepare technical reports and environmental impact assessments
  • Coordinate with marine contractors, government agencies, and stakeholders
Must-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor s/Master s in Coastal/Ocean Engineering
  • 5+ years GCC experience in coastal/marine projects
  • Expertise in:
  • Coastal morphology analysis
  • Shoreline protection design
  • Dredging and reclamation
  • Climate change adaptation
  • Software Mastery:
  • MIKE 21/3 (DHI)
  • DELFT3D
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Revit
  • GIS (ArcMap, QGIS)
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • PMP
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng)
  • SCHEM Expert (Dubai)
