CNC Service Engineer Al Fareji for Gen Cont

We are seeking a skilled CNC Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be

responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines

and related automation equipment. You will provide technical support to customers, ensuring

optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and calibrate CNC machines at customer sites.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues, and implement effective

solutions.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.

• Provide operator training and technical support to end users.

• Accurately document service activities, including maintenance records, reports, and

parts usage.

• Assist with remote troubleshooting and technical support as required.

• Collaborate with internal teams (technical support, sales, engineering) to resolve

complex issues.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNC technologies and company product lines.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service

activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in Mechanical

Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Proven experience servicing CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical

manuals.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites (up to [XX]% travel).

• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation and robotics integration.

• Knowledge of PLC programming and diagnostics.
