Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and ADNOC-approved Civil Planning Engineer with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring project timelines are met in accordance with ADNOC standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, resource-loaded programs, and update progress reports.
  • Monitor project progress and provide weekly/monthly updates and look-ahead schedules.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
  • Prepare delay analysis, recovery plans, and extension of time (EOT) claims when required.
  • Generate progress reports and dashboards for ADNOC and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC planning and reporting procedures.
  • Attend client meetings, provide technical presentations, and resolve planning-related issues.
  • Identify critical paths, risks, and provide mitigation strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • ADNOC Approval (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of planning experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (PMI preferred).
  • Knowledge of ADNOC project procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Candidate:

  • Ready to join immediately or on short notice.
  • UAE experience preferred.
  • Arabic-speaking candidates will be an advantage (not mandatory)
