Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, testing, evaluation, verification, and documentation of O and M contractor activities
• Inspect preventive and corrective maintenance works across civil systems including roads, signage, beach maintenance, security gates, nurseries, pedestrian bridges, and canal maintenance
• Support landscape, electrical, and mechanical inspectors with civil inspection activities at site
• Oversee daily routine operations and maintenance works by contractors and identify issues or required corrective actions
• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, and other site documentation as required by contract or client
• Ensure all civil and structural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain a detailed daily site diary including work activities, approvals, rejections, manpower, and equipment usage
• Coordinate daily with contractors to monitor performance and proper execution of works
• Report non-compliance, poor workmanship, or questionable construction methods to the ARE or Resident Engineer
• Process inspection requests and maintain accurate records of their status
• Maintain detailed records for works performed on a day works basis
• Interface with the public and nearby stakeholders to mitigate construction and maintenance impacts
• Carry out all duties professionally while maintaining firm and fair contractor coordination
