Conduct field inspections, testing, evaluation, verification, and documentation of O and M contractor activities

Inspect preventive and corrective maintenance works across civil systems including roads, signage, beach maintenance, security gates, nurseries, pedestrian bridges, and canal maintenance

Support landscape, electrical, and mechanical inspectors with civil inspection activities at site

Oversee daily routine operations and maintenance works by contractors and identify issues or required corrective actions

Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, and other site documentation as required by contract or client

Ensure all civil and structural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Maintain a detailed daily site diary including work activities, approvals, rejections, manpower, and equipment usage

Coordinate daily with contractors to monitor performance and proper execution of works

Report non-compliance, poor workmanship, or questionable construction methods to the ARE or Resident Engineer

Process inspection requests and maintain accurate records of their status

Maintain detailed records for works performed on a day works basis

Interface with the public and nearby stakeholders to mitigate construction and maintenance impacts

Carry out all duties professionally while maintaining firm and fair contractor coordination
