Job Scope

The Civil Engineer is responsible to manage and oversee the work sites for both new construction and remodel projects, coordinates site activities and assures that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner with respect to all safety hazards construction project.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

-Adhere to company hierarchy guidance and follow up related instructions.

-Plan and coordinate a project from start to finish, including organizing the schedule of work, costings and budget.

-Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

-Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials received on site, inspecting work progress. Prepare construction reports and submit them periodically according to HODs. -Ensure the construction process starts and ends on time and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.

-Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress.

-Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources.

-Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues.
