Civil Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team for the EPC of a 400kV substation in Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for a Saudi National with a background in civil or structural engineering, and a strong interest in infrastructure development for high-voltage utility projects. The role requires full-time on-site presence during the construction phase, with assignments in remote and isolated locations across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the review and implementation of civil designs, including:

• Foundations for transformers, GIS, and gantries

• Cable trenches, duct banks, and drainage systems

• Control building structures and access roads

• Coordinate with survey teams, contractors, and construction supervisors to ensure timely execution of civil works

• Support the preparation of method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests

• Participate in quality control, safety audits, and progress reporting

• Ensure adherence to local regulations, utility standards, and project specifications

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and civil engineering documentation

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles in utility-scale infrastructure
• Familiarity with construction materials, soil mechanics, and structural detailing
• Knowledge of international and local standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, SASO)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in remote site environments and under field conditions
• Commitment to safety, quality, and project timelines
