Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee all civil engineering aspects of construction and maintenance projects within the manufacturing facilities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and specifications for facility upgrades and new construction.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and resolve any on-site issues.
  • Estimate material, labor, and equipment requirements for civil works and prepare detailed project budgets.
  • Ensure all civil engineering activities adhere to local building codes, environmental regulations, and company standards.
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of construction materials and liaise with suppliers as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of facility infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing maintenance and operational needs of the production environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct site visits and work in an on-site (office-based) environment.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in industrial projects.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
