Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience: 2–8 years

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings (RC, steel, and infrastructure)
  • Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layouts
  • Coordinate with engineers and site teams for revisions and updates
  • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards
  • Maintain proper documentation and drawing records

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or relevant field
  • 3–7 years experience as Civil Draughtsman (UAE/GCC preferred)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail and coordination skills

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, ensuring a solid foundation in design principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools is essential for efficient drafting and design work.
  • Certification in relevant drafting courses or software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance in all drafting activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex design specifications and transform them into detailed technical drawings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, showcasing effective communication and teamwork skills.
