Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Case Management and Support :
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children s protection needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans prioritizing the best interests of the child.
Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure effective case closure within 2-3 months.
Facilitate referrals to appropriate services, including psychosocial support, education, and healthcare.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

Capacity Building and Collaboration :
Participate in capacity-building initiatives and training sessions to enhance technical skills.
Collaborate with the Case Reviewer and other team members to align practices with child protection protocols.

Support for Prevention Activities :
Assist in implementing the Life Skills and Resilience Program , fostering personal growth, self-confidence, and resilience among children and adolescents aged 6-15 through interactive activities.
Contribute to the Girls Shine Program , empowering adolescent girls and young women aged 15-24 to enhance self-awareness, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Provide guidance and feedback to facilitators delivering prevention programs.

Data Management :
Ensure secure collection, storage, and sharing of case data using RAIS/Primero systems.
Maintain accurate and confidential records for each case in compliance with organizational policies.

Advocacy and Awareness :

Participate in community events and workshops to raise awareness of child protection issues.
Engage parents and caregivers through the Positive Parenting Program to promote non-violent discipline strategies and gender-equitable attitudes.

Workload Management :

Manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 cases per month, gradually increasing as capacity grows.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in child protection case management or similar roles in humanitarian settings.
Familiarity with child protection protocols and systems such as RAIS/Primero is highly desirable.
Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Fluency in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
