-Lead and control the complete electrical design strategy for EHV 132kV/220kV/330kV/400kV Circuit Breaker LCC panels, including control, protection, interlocking, logic diagrams, supervision, and communication systems.

-Ensure strict compliance with IEC 62271, IEC 61850, IEC 60044, 16-SAMSS, SEC NG standards, and client technical specifications.

-Define and approve design philosophy for trip circuits, close circuits, redundancy logic, supervision schemes, fail-safe operation, and alarm philosophy.

-Approve electrical architecture for LCC panels, including:

a. Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

b. Schematic diagrams

c. Wiring diagrams

d. Terminal schedules

-IO assignments & interlocking logic

-Interface with breakers (SF6 / GIS), protection relays, RTU, SCADA, SAS, and IEC 61850 systems.

-Lead technical design reviews, risk assessments, and resolution of design deviations.

-Supervise and mentor Electrical Design Engineers and Draftsmen across all grades.

-Coordinate with the Mechanical Design team for layout, enclosure design, heat dissipation, and cable entry integration.

-Participate in FAT, SAT, client inspections, and technical audits.

-Implement continuous design improvement and standardization strategy.

Experience:

Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in EHV substation electrical design, with a minimum of 8 years in 132 - 400kV LCC panel and breaker control systems.

Required Knowledge and Skills

-Advanced knowledge of EHV breaker control and protection philosophy

-IEC 61850 and substation automation system architecture

-Protection relay coordination and logic design

-Strong leadership and technical coordination skills

-Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, PLM / ERP systems

-Familiarity with Saudi Aramco and SEC documentation protocols
