Maintain the close calendar and ensure a well-coordinated, consistent, and timely accounting close (monthly, quarterly and annually).

• Review month-end account reconciliations and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of supporting documentation to support the accuracy of the consolidated trial balance.
• Assist in the preparation and review of the weekly cash forecast, including providing analysis to the management.
• Monitor and analyze tasks and work product of the accounting team in order to improve procedures and controls, including workflow and process enhancements as well as strength of control procedures and documentation.
• Manage and review the work of GL accountant(s) including, the handling of routine and non-routine reporting transactions.
• Respond to requests for special reporting and special projects by understanding the problem statement, developing a plan, and executing on deliverables.
• Participate in annual audits including managing PBC lists, driving deliverable requests internally and collaborating cross-functionally, and managing auditor staff and managers.
• Supervise accounting staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of work, deadlines are met, and business directives are achieved.
• Assist in creating and improving written policies and procedure documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff as needed.
• Research technical accounting transactions and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Assist in implementing and upgrading internal controls under direction from other internal teams.
• Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders in the accounting close process, including the international team, FP&A and revenue.
• Review intercompany reconciliations and work with the international team to resolve discrepancies between intercompany accounts.
