Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer assignments, projects, and exams to evaluate students' understanding.
• Guide and supervise students during laboratory experiments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Stay updated with current scientific developments and integrate new information into teaching.
• Meet with students and parents regularly to discuss academic progress and address concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to enhance teaching strategies and programs.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to science and chemistry.
• Utilize technology and modern educational tools to enhance learning and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of students' grades, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement and provide tailored support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic curiosity.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or a related field, with a teaching certification preferred.
• Proven experience teaching chemistry at the high school or college level is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and ability to effectively convey knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.
• Capability to design and implement experiments and safety protocols in the laboratory.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools and software for teaching purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs of students.
