Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Adjust controls and instrumentation to regulate temperature, pressure, flow rates, and chemical reactions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Collect and analyze samples to monitor product quality and process parameters.
- Follow strict safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Document operational data, incidents, and maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Assist in the start-up, shutdown, and cleaning of production lines as required.
- Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or process deviations promptly to supervisors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of experience operating chemical plant or manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Basic understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.
- Effective communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
