Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process patient payments accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
  • Issue receipts, handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment in compliance with company policies.
  • Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies at the end of each shift.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and resolve payment-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient financial information in accordance with HIPAA and company standards.
  • Collaborate with administrative and medical staff to ensure smooth front desk operations.
  • Prepare daily financial reports and submit them to the finance department.
  • Monitor and replenish cash supplies as needed.
  • Support other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment.
  • Strong numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
