Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily transactions at a reputed school in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling fee collections, issuing receipts, maintaining financial records, and assisting with basic accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily fee collection from students and parents
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate records
- Reconcile cash and prepare daily cash reports
- Support the accounts/finance team with basic data entry
- Respond to parent inquiries regarding payments and fees
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Deposit collected cash/cheques to the bank when needed
- Assist with end-of-month reconciliations and reporting
Desired Candidate Profile
- Nationality Preference: South Indian candidates preferred
- Location Preference: Candidates currently in Qatar will be given priority
- Experience: 1–3 years in a cashier or accounting-related role (experience in schools or educational institutions is a plus)
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
- Skills:
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Basic accounting knowledge
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
