Job Title: Cashier

Location: Safawi Trading Company, Tarik El Matar

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM


Job Summary:


We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Safawi Trading Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments accurately, and delivering friendly, professional service to customers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and has a strong sense of responsibility.


Key Responsibilities:


Greet customers and process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and issue receipts.

Ensure the cash register is balanced at the start and end of each shift.

Maintain accuracy in all financial transactions.

Provide basic product or service information as needed.

Keep the checkout area clean and organized.

Report any discrepancies or system issues to the supervisor.


Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Proven experience in a cashier or similar role is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently.
