Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Construct and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures from wood and other materials, ensuring precision and quality in every project.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately, minimizing errors and rework.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using various hand and power tools, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to integrate systems seamlessly within the framework.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is essential; vocational training in carpentry or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in residential and commercial carpentry projects, demonstrating versatility and skill.
  • Relevant certifications, such as OSHA Safety Training or a Carpenter's Apprenticeship, are highly regarded.
  • Experience with specialized carpentry techniques, such as cabinetry or timber framing, is a significant advantage.
