Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Ensure guests are serviced within specified time
2. Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language
3. Answer phone calls when required, using appropriate telephone etiquette
4. Answer any questions related to the menu and assist with menu selections
5. Anticipate any unexpected guest need and react promptly and tactfully
6. Set tables according to type of event and service standards
7. Record transactions in point of sales system at the time of order
8. Present accurate final bill to guests and process payments
9. Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and items availability
10. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen
11. Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages
12. Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized at the front of all the house areas

1. Always greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
2. Always thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit
3. Assist guests with table reservation and while seating
