Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily camp operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently to maintain high standards of service.
  • Manage and coordinate accommodation logistics for staff and guests, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
  • Supervise and train camp staff, fostering a collaborative team environment to enhance performance and morale.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols and emergency procedures, prioritizing the well-being of all camp occupants.
  • Maintain inventory and manage procurement processes for supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and availability.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client communications, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying maintenance needs and overseeing repair processes.
  • Develop and enforce camp policies and procedures, aligning with organizational standards and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and manage the camp budget, monitoring expenses and reporting financial status to higher management.
  • Organize recreational activities and events, enhancing community spirit and engagement among camp residents.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in camp management or a similar role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Certifications in health and safety, food handling, or first aid are highly desirable to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Experience in remote or offshore camp settings is advantageous, highlighting adaptability and resilience.
  • Candidates from diverse nationalities are encouraged to apply, fostering a multicultural work environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse groups.
  • Technical skills in budgeting software and inventory management systems are crucial for efficient operations.
