Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Convert rough sketches, redlines, and notes from architects and designers into complete and precise technical drawings.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, or regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain an organized library of CAD files and ensure drawing sets are current and well-documented.
  • Assist in developing 3D models and rendering presentations (optional based on skill level and project requirements).
  • Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and integrate drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs when required.
  • Conduct site visits when necessary to collect measurements or verify existing conditions.
  • Support project documentation for permit applications, tendering, and construction phases.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or similar role in architectural drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D is a plus); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other BIM tools is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good time management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in architectural drafting(Villa projects)
  • Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design or LEED documentation is a plus.
  • Experience working with international codes (e.g., IBC, ADA) if the role involves global projects.
