CAD Detailer Electra Events & Exhibitions

Main Accountabilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation.

• Interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications.

• Create CNC cutting files, shop drawings, fabrication details, and material take-off sheets.

• Ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and in compliance with project standards and specifications.

• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from production team.

• Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure designs are practical and feasible for Fabrication.

• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.

• Liaise with production team for technical clarifications when required.

• Work with production team preparing, layouts, revisions and renderings as needed.

• Assign and maintain material coding/numbering on drawings for easy identification, tracking.

• Follow 5S principles and Lean techniques to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

Under the Company Safety Policy, theSr. Acrylic Fabricatorhas a responsibility to follow the above duties in a safe mannerin accordance withthe Safe Systems of Work and the procedures laid down under the Health and Safety Environment (HSE).

Knowledge & Experience

Technical & Functional Skills (Identify here the functionnal skills that apply to the specific job requirements as well as the required abilities to perform)

• Proficiencyin AutoCAD; knowledge of other software such as SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks is an advantage.

• Proven experience as a CAD Detailer in joinery, metal fabrication, exhibitions, interiors, or related industries

• Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, and standardsin carpentry and steel

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

• Good communicationskills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
