Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the procurement process.
- Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies with suppliers.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and storage of goods.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a buyer, procurement, or purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Willingness to work onsite in an office environment.
