Roles & Responsibilities

As part of our continued growth and commitment to innovation and service excellence, we are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our National Travel & Tourism (NTT) division.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall business strategy, aligning with the Group’s vision and growth objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient operations across ticketing, inbound/outbound tours, MICE, corporate travel, and related services.
  • Market Expansion: Strengthen NTT’s market presence in Oman and beyond through innovative travel products and partnerships.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, revenue targets, and profitability while maintaining strong cost control measures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team focused on customer service and operational excellence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, tourism boards, corporate clients, and government entities.
  • Customer Experience: Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service standards.
  • Brand & Marketing: Oversee marketing and promotional strategies to enhance visibility and brand equity.
  • Event Management: Manage and execute large-scale corporate and government events with precision and creativity.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • 20–25 years of progressive experience in the Tours & Travels domain, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role managing a large business unit.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oman’s geography, culture, and tourism landscape.
  • Proven track record in event management, corporate travel, and destination management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic planning abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in business growth, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Multilingual ability – fluency in Arabic and English is essential; knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
