About the Role:

In this role, this Executive will be part of a growing sales team dedicated to expanding our customer reach. The Business Development Manager's main responsibility is to grow their dedicated market to meet Trella s targets and vision

What You'll Do:

  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion and close.
  • Own, manage and grow client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Visit adjacent markets of the designated territory and unlock opportunities.
  • Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory.
  • Manage sales team with specific KPI like lead generation, conversion of opportunities through BDRs.
  • Responsible for achieving own targets as well as to team s in a collaborative effort.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss onboarding and developing opportunities.
  • Meet targets set by Commercial Management.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Answer questions about Trella s products and services.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
  • Collaborate with sales management and sales operations to set strategies and implement best practices across their territories/market.
  • Update CRM on a daily basis and create weekly reports to Sales Management.

What You'll Need:

  • A Minimum Degree Required is a Bachelor in Business and/or Supply Chain or equivalent
  • At Least 4-6 Years Experience in a commercial environment with experience in sales and business development. Out of this atleast 3 years experience in a logistics, freight forwarding company is a must.
  • Candidates with experience and know-how in Selling Containerized Land Transportation will be the preferred.
  • Knowledge of import, export, port operations, shipping and custom clearance would be a definite plus.
  • The candidate is required to be Customer Centric, Process Driven and can follow tight deadlines
  • Good Presentation Skills is a must and will be asked for a DEMO.
  • A sales mindset with the ability to grow strong partnerships
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders including operations, marketing, and customer service teams
  • Excitement toward working and staying organized in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment
  • Portfolio of achievements growing a business or product and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals
  • Salesforce Experience; Familiarity with Pipedrive and other sales tools.
