Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

-Business Growth & Strategy
-Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals.
-Identify, evaluate, and secure new contracts, joint ventures, and partnerships within Libya and North Africa.
-Lead the development of new service lines, technologies, and solutions to meet market demands.
-Monitor economic, political, and industry trends that may impact the company’s growth.
-Client & Stakeholder Engagement
-Build and maintain long-term relationships with international oil companies (IOCs), service contractors, and government authorities.
-Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring service satisfaction and contract compliance.
-Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and government meetings to raise brand visibility.
-Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and tender regulations.
-Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and terms of agreement to achieve.
-Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and revenue projections; provide senior management with accurate market intelligence.
-Work closely with technical, operations, and finance teams to design tailored solutions.
-Ensure compliance with company policies, Libyan regulations, and international standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Petroleum Studies, or related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.

Experience:
- 7–12 years of proven experience in business development within the oil and gas sector (oilfield services, EPC, upstream, midstream, or downstream).
-Demonstrated success in winning contracts, developing partnerships, and driving revenue growth in oil & gas markets.
-Strong knowledge of Libyan oil and gas market dynamics is a plus; international professionals encouraged to apply.

Skills & Competencies:
-Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and deal-closing skills and strong financial and commercial acumen.
-Ability to build and maintain relationships with IOCs.
-Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English
-High resilience, adaptability, and cross-cultural awareness.
