General Summary

Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies within the organization, as well as promoting disclosure among issuers, engage with, investors, and stakeholders to raise awareness and advance sustainability development in the Saudi Capital Market.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives in coordination with regulators and internal stakeholders.

2. Organize workshops, awareness sessions, and capacity-building webinars, in coordination with market participants and partners.

3. Lead guidance initiatives to elevate Sustainability disclosure and reporting among listed companies.

4. Assist in the development of sustainable financial products and services that support national and global sustainable development goals.

5. Engage with issuers, investors, and stakeholders to raise awareness and advance sustainability reporting within the Saudi Capital Market.

6. Monitor ESG market trends, regulatory updates, and performance indicators to inform internal strategy and external engagement.

Key Accountabilities

1. Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the company s standards.

2. Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.

3. Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.

4. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

5. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.

6. Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.

7. Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Education and Certifications

Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar is required, Master Degree is preferred.

Sustainability related Professional certifications are preferred

Knowledge and Experience

3 + years of experience in ESG/sustainability, preferably in a financial institution, consultancy, or regulatory body.

Skills Required

Knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ESG data platforms or sustainability reporting tools is preferable.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Familiarity with sustainable finance instruments such as green bonds, ESG indices, and carbon markets.

Project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and track multiple initiatives simultaneously.
