Roles & Responsibilities
AYC is building the GCC’s first Packaging-as-Media Network, turning cups, bags, and boxes into a high-intent real-world media channel for brands. We are looking for a scrappy operator who knows the UAE packaging ecosystem like the back of their hand. Someone who doesn’t wait for doors to open but kicks them open (politely) and walks in with a deal. What You Will Own (Responsibilities) 1. Merchant Acquisition & Sales Drive end-to-end merchant acquisition for AYC’s Packaging + Media offering. Sell AYC directly to cafés, restaurants, cloud kitchens, bakeries, and QSR chains. Pitch AYC’s packaging savings + advertiser-funded model to decision-makers. 2. Channel Partner Management Work with our channel partners to activate their merchant base. Train, enable, motivate, and support channel partners with pitches, benefits, and onboarding SOPs. Manage a monthly pipeline and conversion funnel with partners. 3. Packaging Ecosystem Expertise Consult merchants on the right SKUs, materials, specs, costs, and alternatives. Work with AYC’s operations & procurement teams to ensure packaging requirements are captured clearly. Identify gaps in the current SKU portfolio and introduce new suppliers when needed. 4. Sales Targets & Reporting Own monthly and quarterly merchant acquisition targets. Maintain a structured CRM pipeline, track metrics, and provide weekly reports. Work closely with founders to refine pricing, pitches, and GTM. 5. Relationship Building Build and nurture strong relationships with packaging manufacturers, distributors, and F&B operators. Spot partnership opportunities that benefit AYC’s scale and merchant network.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications Required Min 3 years of experience in packaging sales, F&B packaging supply, packaging distributor networks, or packaging manufacturer sales in the UAE. Strong existing network across cafés, restaurants, suppliers, and packaging manufacturers. Proven track record of hitting and exceeding monthly sales targets. Comfortable with CRM tools, structured reporting, and fast-paced environments. Valid UAE driving license highly preferred. Skills Needed Deep understanding of UAE packaging ecosystem: costs, suppliers, SKUs, materials, lead times. Excellent relationship-builder with ability to win trust quickly. Exceptional communication and negotiation ability. Ability to simplify the business offering and deliver sharp sales pitches. Highly organised, proactive, and resourceful. Strong commercial instincts and ability to recognise opportunities.
