Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in The Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities essentially bring in new clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, developing and executing sales strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. , with a track record of success in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Handle set of customers for all business-related activities to achieve business goals strengthen the existing Business through effective business processes.
Support existing customers & ensure timely delivery of their products.
Increasing the portfolio from existing customers for contract manufacturing.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder for all activities.
Support Management in taking Informed Decision through Analytic Reports.
Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up to date with latest medico-marketing data.
Meeting & achieving assigned KPIs.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Develop and implement business/sales strategies and goals.
Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, product synergies and strategic alliances to expand market presence and penetration.
Assess and prioritize in collaboration with Product on new market entry based on market potential, competition, and internal capabilities.
Understand our customer s motivations, business drivers, strategic goals and objectives and desired business outcomes.
Should be able to visit all customers on regular intervals.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor Degree in pharmacy, medicine or life science background.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing, M.Pharma in Pharmacy.
At lest 7 years experience in business development in the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to think broadly and innovate, especially around
business development opportunities and achievement.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical and presentation abilities.
Demonstrated ability to finalize deals & close agreements.
Fluency in English is a must.
