Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share in the Automotive Logistics segment.
- Identify new business opportunities with vehicle manufacturers (OEMs), dealerships, fleet operators, and logistics providers.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the automotive logistics value chain.
- Prepare and execute business development roadmaps aligned with company objectives.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Generate new leads and manage the complete sales cycle—from lead identification to contract closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, importers, distributors
- Collaborate with clients to offer tailored logistics and supply chain solutions (service center, PDI, storage, customs clearance, etc.).
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
3. Commercial & Operational Coordination
- Work closely with operations, finance, and quality teams to ensure service delivery meets client requirements.
- Participate in contract negotiations, pricing strategy development.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth execution of projects involving yard operations, service centers, and transport management.
4. Marketing & Brand Development
- Represent the company at automotive trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Develop marketing materials, presentations, and proposals targeting automotive clients.
5. Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare monthly business performance reports and revenue forecasts.
- Track key performance metrics including sales pipeline, conversion ratios, and revenue growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Automotive Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in business development or sales within the Automotive Logistics, Supply Chain, or Automotive OEM industry.
- Proven track record in generating new business and managing large key accounts.
- Deep understanding of automotive logistics processes (import/export, customs, yard management, PDI, transportation).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and data-driven sales management.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
